Why does Outlook lose toolbar settings after exiting the program?

I have McAfee Security Center installed with Outlook 2002. When I customize
the toolbars (e.g. put the McAfee toolbar above/next to the Standard
Toolbar), Outlook reverts to the default settings (Standard Toolbar above the
McAfee Toolbar) after I exit and restart Outlook. It is kind of frustrating
because I have become acustomed to the buttons/toolbars being in a certain
order.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

It is a problem that McAfee created by poorly writing their toolbar.

It is a common problem for people who have added software that adds toolbars to Outlook. Outlook can remember where its own toolbars are but it is up to the programmers of the other programs to include those code bits that make their toolbars persist in the current location.
