why do customized toolbars dissappear when closing outlook?

I only use certain buttons and therefore customize my toolbars. when closing
outlook and opening again, the standard/default toolbars are back, and mine
have dissappeared. Can anyone tell me why? Can anyone tell me how to fix
that, so that it does not happen again? Thanx a lot.

Sounds like you have a damaged outcmd.dat file. Rename it to .old and try
again.
