Just put my Mx7000 keyboard on usb2.0 connector and my keyboard is
pretty much dead untill i get into windows. I can't pres f8 to go into
safe mode. I also cant skip the scanning of files that happens
somtimes when Xp boots ?

Do i need somthing set in the bios to allow my keyboard to work ??

/PS i have No trouble at all with a PS2 keyboard.

Thanks,

USB Legacy should be enabled. You need a PS2 keyboard to configured this,
then your USB Keyboard should work after this is enabled.

I think its turned on ?

Had a look in the Bios and nothing about USB legacy :(

My board is an Abit NF7-S 2.0 bios 24 i think.

I did a post to an Abit group maybe they can help.

Thanks.

Yes. Look for Legacy USB support - it might work. But at that stage
there are no Windows USB drivers loaded. This is my big objection to
USB keyboards while PS/2 connectors remain
