Windows 7 what if Services set back to default

If I set all my Services back to factory default what could result,it seemed a good solution to me but it seems too obvious.What is the worst that could happen

I ahve a problem with system restore,event viewer,Windows firewall .windows defender,all report errors and I wondered if restoring the Services to factory defautl would help.That is the reason for my post

Do you mean a system restore to how your PC was when you baught it ??

Yes ,not sure what that would involve though

Firstly it would involve you backing up and important documents and/or game save etc onto a spare hdd, pendrive or disc or types

Oh that's not too bad I can do that as I have an external hd,would it mean re installing w 7

Win 7 can repair itself ... use Startup Repair ... it may help with the other problems you are posting about your system.
