weirdest thing ever...please help, no sound

i have a laptop so the speakers arent plugged in, they are just part of the computer. ive had it for awhile with no problems, but all of a sudden theres no sound coming from the speakers. when i plug the headphones in, i get sound. i checked all the audio settings and volume control and everything is fine with those. help me please!
 
If your head phones work and the speaker dosen't..try another speaker set..u may have a broken wire or bad speaker
