Vista Sleep Mode: Monitor Sleeps, PC...not so much

Atleast the hard disks don't. When I press the sleep button, the monitor goes
to sleep but the PC doesn't. The PC is one day old (got it yesterday) and it
JUST started doing this, after I added the Xbox 360 as an extender to Media
Center and enabled Away Mode...so I dunno if this is whats causing it or
something else, but I need help :(. Is this curable? Am I the only one with
this problem? Will I ever be able to sleep again? :( :( :(

-Thanks

Hello. Yup you're right away mode is what's causing this. It basically
stops the machine from sleeping encase you want to fire up your Xbox 360 and
connect to the computer.

If you go to Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> Power Options ->
Edit Plan Settings -> Change advanced power settings ...... phew....

Then go to Multimedia settings and you'll have three options, Prevent idling
to sleep, Allow the computer to sleep and Allow the computer to enter away
mode.

Pick the one you want and it should be sorted.
