Sleep Mode in Vista Home Premium 32bit

I have tried all the suggestions I can find in the message boards and still
cannot get the computer to sleep automatically. The monitor goes off but the
computer will no longer sleep unless I put it into sleep mode manually. I
tried changing the screen saver from Photos to some of the others but get the
same results. I have fiddled with the power saver settings and nothing seems
to help.

I assume by fiddled in power settings you've ensured it is set to idle to
sleep under media options.

If you have any files open over a network that will also keep a machine from
sleeping.
