A thousand million flies can't be wrong - shit is good :)

Most of us who are business owners don't have time for "Version 1.0" of
anything. We need to get the job done efficiently and as quickly as possible.
If the other 90% are busy playing games or in blogging, then it won't matter
what they're stuck with; meanwhile, the other 10% do know what they want, so
"choice" works for everyone.

That's exactly what I'm going to do.

Be sure to go when you know there will be customers there and, in a loud
but polite voice, tell them what you want.

My new HP laptop came with Vista installed. I love the laptop, but I
certainly don't like Vista! I would NEVER have chosen this program! I wish
Microsoft would give us a choice. Don't preload it with what YOU want,
Microsoft, let ME decide what that is.

Microsoft had nothing to do with this. It was HP who preloaded it with
Vista. And yes, *you* had a choice, but *you* didn't exercise it.
There are other laptops you could have bought (from Dell, for
example), but *you* didn't.

I have XP Professional on my desktop,
I chose to upgrade to it, and it is great. In my opinion it walks all over
Vista.

And my opinion is that Vista is the better operating system.

But as with anything new, it is different in many ways from its
predecessor. It takes time to learn those differences and get
accustomed to them. You clearly haven't taken the time to do that.

That's fine. You don't have to prefer the same things I do. I won't
presume to tell you what operating system you should run; it's your
choice, not mine. But don't blame Microsoft for *your* having made
what you consider to be the wrong choice.

MS' way or the highway, eh?

Bullsh*t! Your arrogance is only outweighed by your sheer stupidity.

Such arrogance will be MS' downfall.

It is your downfall.
