Virus: downloader,keenval.j

wolfematecatcher

on my c: drive i have a directory called c:\common files\update\update.exe
has a virus mentioned above. however i cant copy the file over or move it or
even delete it to remove the virus and norton didnt find it but AVG the free
virus did but cant move it. any suggestions on how to remove the virus?

This is wrong news group although virus appear to be embedded in your OS.
This NG is for Windows XP Embedded developers, you should try microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
