virus detected

norton has detected a virus on my laptop but wont delete it, i have also tried deleting it by following the directory to the file, but it cant delete it.

It is a spyware file called winstall

what should i do

Start in safe mode and try to delete it then.

Try installing Adaware SE and A-Squared, they may be able to get shot of it.
