You're a sensitive bastard aren't you? Ha!
Its random sig done via the use of fortune, I rarely read them before
sending so occasionaly a questionable one slips out.
I am a member of minority group myself so no offense is meant. Any one
offendedd please accept my apologies.
Well, there's always going to be someone offended by something. I
figure anyone who uses the nym 'SINNER' and also quotes Mark Twain has
got to have a good sense of humor. Then again, Twain was almost cruel
at times with his observations. Maybe you're just a sadist.

Among a few other things ;)

Clemens was also the sort of rowdy, loud mouth, obnoxious drunk that
would go shoot his firearms out the window at 2AM. He generally stayed
in boarding houses or residential hotels, for as long as he was
allowed to stay in town.

He had to move a lot.

The autostarting, etc is all done through a ini file now.
Still trying to get it going with Outlook Express / thunderbird, it says the
server could not be found...set everything up as per help but obviously
missed something...

Is Hamster saying that the server cannot be found, or OE ? You DO have
Hamster running when trying to access posts don't you ?

Regards, John.

I always liked this program better than Hamster, particularly
because it downloads headers only when you request them:
[...]

This is pasted from its main page. There is a typo in the release
date oh version 2004. It is 2004.01.15, not 2003.01.15. Mr. Mirowski
was a little distracted when writting the page :) Take a look at it at

http://triceron.com/project/1/newsplex/

He must have problems with the dates.
In this page he speaks about 23rd December 04 and 5th December 04 http://triceron.com/news.htm

This is actually Pavel Stratil's page and site, not mine,
and he is a busy guy. A few people have kindly proposed to
distribute NewsPlex thru their own sites, sometimes with a
nice comment; I do not maintain an official site myself,
just a download place.

BTW, Hamster is a real news-server, not a virtual one.
Even newsplex is pretty much a real server, since today
such servers also apparently split the work of managing
"headers" and "bodies" between several computers.
