It's a "we help those who make an effort to help themselves" group.

So far, Coach, you haven't lifted a finger on your own behalf or to help us
help you and frankly your questions have drifted off into ridiculousness. I
mean really ... how are WE supposed to know the serial number of a piece of
equipment you have sitting in front of you? You can't turn it over and look?

If you expected mind reading and magical powers, then yes, you were wrong.

that pretty well under control. Outside of sushi bars, anyhow.
