V5 Windows Update Problem

Is there a way to get back a previous version of Windows
Update? The V5 one gives me an Invald Product Key which I
don't know about ... My friend just installed Windows XP
Professional on my PC and I don't know how I can update
security packs with this problem. Much help would be
appreciated =)

If so your friend may have installed a stolen license.
If you do not have the original Product Key, license and CD you do not
have a legal license.
If the above is true, your "friend" is the type I stay away from.

System Restore to a Dare/Time before issue started:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
