Windows Update v5

Is v5 of Windows Update final or not? When I clicked on
Windows Update today my system loaded v5. I got no
warnings or messages about being a beta or test version
and nothing about it says it is not final.

MSFT Support, however, say they don't support beta
versions and as far as they're concerned v5 IS beta!
What's going on?

v5 of Windows Update that was installed is the final
version of Windows Update v5. No need for concern
as it is now ready for the soon-to-be-released version
of SP2.

Thanks for that, Carey. Now would you like to tell MS
Support? They are still insisting that it's beta! Talk
about the left hand not knowing what the right hand's
doing!
