This is really bugging the snot out of me so I hope someone has the answer
:-)

Several months ago, and in the interest of saving some space, I configured
IE to NOT show the footer bar at the bottom of the window and now I'd like
it back. For the life of me, I cant figure out how I "turned it off"
although I've been all through Options looking for the answer. I know I
have probably overlooked it, and its probably right in front of my eyes, but
if someone could point me in the right direction, I'd be eternally grateful.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Please reply in group.

I took one last crack at it and found my answer. It wasn't in Options at
all, instead it was under View.
Murphy's Law strikes again!! Thanks anyway if you were planning to respond.

It's not in Internet Options.

Click on 'View' then enable 'Status Bar'.
