using links in emails

Recently changed from CompuServe dial-up to DSL on a small network. When I
try to access a web link in any emails received, OE tries to use the old
dial-up connection instead o fthe new DSL connection. How do I correct?

Greetings Terry!

Try going to Tools (on the menu), Internet Option..., and
click on the Connections tab. Highlight your preferred
internet connection and click 'Set Default'. You may need
to highlight your dialup connection and set the radio
button to 'Never dial a connection'.

While in OE, click on the Tools menu, and go to Options. Click on the
Connections tab and click on the Change button under Internet Connection
Settings. This will bring you to your Internet Properties dialog box. If
there is anything under your Dial-up and Virtual Private Network Setting from
Compuserve, Highlight it and then click on the Remove button to the right of
it. Your network and DSL setting should be under LAN Settings. Click on the
LAN Settings button and check the box that says "Automatically
