User Logon Name

I finally figured out how to use ADSI to change the format
of a user's displayed name, but would also like to try and
have the user logon name "auto-complete" in accordance
with our naming scheme. For example:

While entering the user's name in the new user creation
wizard, I would like the logon name to take the First
Letter of the person's first name <givenName> and
concatenate the full last name <sn> to it. Any ideas?
I've been searching Microsoft's support site and the
internet for 2 days (on and off). Thanks.

Thanks for the Response. I was kind of hoping that it
could be done via ADSI editor; Oh well, we'll just have to
type them in. Thanks.
