USB 2.0 Drivers?

CHOUT

Hello,

I have just installed, uninstalled and reinstalled again
the newest SP 1a and I can not for the life of me get my
USB 2.0 drivers to work/recognize? The device manager
does not even show my root hub or any USB roots for that
matter as USB 2.0. My motherboard has USB 2.0 and I have
an iRiver mp3 that uses USB 2.0 to upload tunes.
Uploading 20 gb of music via USB 1.1 will take
weeks..lol. Also, my camera uses 2.0 and it really is
frustrating that it will not update to 2.0! My friends
computer says USB 2.0 in his device manager? Am i doing
something wrong here or? Everything on my motherboard
works and its USB 2.0 compliant. Thanks for the help
everyone.

Make sure that you run the set up disk for your
motherboard. I recently upgraded my computer with all new
parts. The MB had onboard USB ports. Nothing worked until
I configured the MB drivers for the USB, Eathernet
connection, chipset, etc.
