URLMON.DLL error when IE6.0 goes to msn.com

Nikki

Just this morning I began have problems with my Internet
Explorer 6.0. My homepage is(was) www.msn.com. I use to be
able to click on the IE icon and the browser would open
and go to my set homepage. But since this morning when I
do that I receive the error:
"Explorer has caused an error in URLMON.DLL.
Explorer will now close."

And I have come to realize this only occurs when trying to
visit that site. I changed my homepage to a non-msn site
and it started up without an error. I can view any other
site and I do not receive that error. What is causing this
and what can I do to fix this?
Thank you in advance.

I ran both SpyBot and Ad-aware and I still continue to
experience the same problem.

Nikki,
First, search for adware, spyware, parasites with programs such as Ad-aware,
Spybot and CWShredder.
See: Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites:

Other possible solutions at:

Try deleting the Temporary Internet Files folder. Follow the instructions at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm for your version of Windows.

Then try the other solutions at
