Yesterday after a virus attack on my computer, my Internet explorer homepage
has changed.
I used McAfee to scan and delete the viruses " yahlov.worm and wwwcool**" .
After this I reset my IE to defaults and the homepage is "www.msn.com".

But I am not able to change it to www.bbc.com that is my favorite. The
option in the IE,Tools, options are disabled!!!
Even when I am surfing other websites, the title block shows www.msn.com.
Even when I surfing www.cnn.com, the title of IE shows msn.com

Please help to solve.
My Firefox browsers are not affected.
Thanks

It might be a security program blocking the Registry change it needs to
make. A few of the programs now doing this are:
Ad-aware's Ad-Watch
McAfee VirusScan and/or Antispyware
Norton AV
Spyware Blaster
Spybot> Tools> IE Tweaks
Spybot- Teatimer
Spysweeper
Windows Defender
Zone Alarm (free) 6.5 Reported to be fixed in later versions.

In the case of Zone Alarm 6.5 it actually has to be uninstalled. Make sure
the Windows Firewall is turned on until you reinstall Zone Alarm.

Boot into Safe Mode with Networking with Networking and try the change.
