update 967715

My system wants me to install update XP967715 every day. How do I convince
the system/microsoft updates I've already installed it?

The easiest way is to go to

and read the instructions in one of the several posts on the subject.

LOL, I checked it out, tried their suggestions with no luck. The log said
installation failed about 6 times but also said the installation worked
twice. Windows update also said it installed ok and I still have that dang
reminder. I may have to hide that reminder.

I've had this same annoying problem for the past 3 weeks. Everytime I turn
on the PC it reminds me that this update needs to be installed. It ends in
success, but next time it starts all over again. This is very annoying.
I'll Give Milt's suggestion a try.

To get help, why not start your own, new thread and post in the correct
discussion group i.e updates, instead of general - you will find a lot more
posts re this KB in 'UPDATES'
