Update KB967715; keeps asking to install

HI,
We have a pc that runs windows media center. Each time we reboot the yellow
shield comes up to tell us to install this Update. Looking at our history,
we've installed it 15 times. Here's what we've done thus far:

1) We removed it from add/remove
2) We reinstalled it
3) We went to: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967715
a) We followed the instructions

But every time we reboot, or after reboot go to windows update it says to
install KB967715, even after doing the three items above. We are not sure
what to do at this point. Thank you.

Did you try installing the update in safe mode?

Oh boy, we tried this and no luck. I had looked at other postings and some
didn't have much luck either. Now, KB967715 does show it's installed, but it
just keeps coming up when reboot. Do you think MS might come out with a fix
for this. We called a family member and they are having the same issue.
First time this has happened. -s

I am going to try if from "Thee Chicago Wolf's" way, but this update keeps

It must have been operator error the first time. But I did add the
HonorAutorun into the registry, but still did not work. So, the second time
I installed KB967715 in safe mode (safe mode with networking) it worked! So
thank you all. I cannot remember what I did wrong the first time in safe
mode, but all is well. Thanks.
