unexpected stop running Windows Defender

Overnite a few times and once when I launched Windows Defender from the start
menu, I received the following message:
Windows Defender encounted an error: 0x80500f. An unexpected problem
occured. Install any available updates, and then try to start the program
again (To check for updates, click start, click all programs, and then click
Windows Update).

I checked for updates and there were none. The program seems to be running
fine until I receive this message and after.

I am running Windows XP SP2 with all updates installed. I am also running
the current beta of Windows One Care.

The error is 0x8050800f and I noticed it again this morning.

Dan, could you check your event log for any events around the time you're
seeing this? We think we have it fixed, but we're having a tough time with
the repro.

I have been seeing this error often. I do not know if it is related.
