Unable to login to server

I have a 2000 server that all of a sudden I can not login
to. When I enter the correct username and password it
appears as though it is going in okay and then suddenly
the Windows Login screen reappears. I have tried many
times. Other servers are okay but not this one. Does
anyone have an idea of how I can get into this server?
 
It seems your profile has gone south. Rename it
(it's in c:\documents and settings), then log on again
so that a new one can be created.
