thanks in advance for all the gurus who would consider helping me.
Had bought this computer (win XP) and the retailer had installed
virgin isp's software to use internet. I have uninstalled virgin's
software but this has left a virgin icon on the desktop which is
otherwise in all aspects similar in properties to the internet
explorer icon(not shortcut). right clicking it doesnt give the option
to delete it.
I am stuck with this on the desktop and badly want to get rid of this
from the desktop. i have also tried to drag it to recycle bin, tried
to delete it using windows explorer but in vain.
very gratefull for any suggestions.
