Twain dirver problems

Hi guys,
need some help please, I have a Canon Scanner 3000f(Usb), I am running XP
Home. I have downloaded and installed the latest driver as per canon's
instructions. The scanner is in the device manager, but whenever I go to
use the scanner all I ever get is Cannot find TWAIN source, when I go to
select the source the box is empty no source. I have re-installed the
scanner and drivers but still no good. Would appreciate ant help, before I
go mad.

Ivan,
I hope you have luck because that is exactly my problem and Canon
support does not really want to know. It is nt a scanner problem it
is something in your setup of WinXP that is stopping the twain driver
from working.

The twain driver is the bit in between your program ( say Photoshop)
and your scanner driver, which is ok coz Device manager sees your
scanner as ok and functioning.

If I get a result Iwill certainly post back coz I know how frustrating
this is!
