Tried to fix Help & Support by reinstalling SP2

P

I could not open Help and Support in Windows XP. Tried several fixes and they did not work. I downloaded Service Pack2 hoping that reinstalling this would correct the problem...didn't happen. Have I created more of a problem by doing this? When installing SP 2 didn't work, I thought I should uninstall it by going to Add/Remove Programs but it said that if I removed SP2 some of my other programs wouldn't work...I did not uninstall and I'm looking for help about what to do now-do I just leave what I've installed or is it OK to uninstall? The original SP 2 was installed by auto update from Microsoft. I should have done without the Windows help files... :-(

Thanks, Pat

You can install SP2 as many times as you like.
Doesn't matter HOW you do it - just as long as
it got fully done the last time.

_-* No need to uninstall it. *-_

Question: Why doesn't Help and Support work?

The second is easier.
