Toolbars

I recently upgraded to Office 2003 and have not been able to locate Outlooks
toolbars the way I would like to have them displayed. I rearrange them, but
every time Outlook opens they are re-displayed stacked vertically instead of
horizontally as I prefer. What am I missing in getting the Toolbars to stay
put?

Try renaming your outcmd.dat file to outcmd.old while Outlook is closed.
Outlook will rebuild the default toolbars the next time you open it. If
your changes to the toolbars "stick" after doing this, then you know it was
the outcmd.dat file causing the problem. Make sure to make a backup of the
new outcmd.dat file so you can restore it if you ever run into the same
problem again.

Note: If you're using Windows 2000 or XP, you'll need to search in hidden
and system folders to find the outcmd.dat file.

Thanks for the info about outcmd.dat, but apparently that is not the problem
on my machine. The Tool Bars are still re-stacked after Outlook 2003 is
closed and re-opened.
