tim keep changes

in win 2000 pro, my time keeps jumping. i have to keep
resetting it and it will not stay correct. has anyone else
run into this problem? (stand alone machine for funtion
but is connected to lan for internet service)

Are you sure it is stand-alone and not part of the domain? If you are a
participant in an Active directory domain, the domain controller will reset
your time for you so that it is within 5 minutes of the DC, for Kerberos
purposes.

If not, get a copy of a time syncronizer program and set your clock every
half hour to the Naval Observatory's atomic clock.
