Thumbnails appear without file names

I have several folders containing digital photos. For all the folders but
one, displaying the files by thumbnails results in the file name below the
photo. For one folder only the thumbnail appears, no file name.

I've messed around with this a long time, playing with details, visible
details, etc. Finally I had to throw my hands up.

In the folder that has the names missing, do the following:

Click on View on the toolbar at the top of the window.
Click on any of the other options such as Tiles or Icons. All
you want to do is change the way the files are displayed.
Next, while holding down the Shift key, go back to the View
menu and click on Thumbnails.
The names should now be displayed under the files.

Good luck

Since Rick has already given you the best answer, I'll just add
that if you have no alternative but the web interface make sure
you've allowed pop-ups for that site.

Look at the Status bar at the bottom of the window to see if
pop-ups were blocked. If so, you can click on Tools at the top
of the window, go down to Pop-Up Blocker and select "Always
Allow Pop-Ups From This Site". Another way to allow pop-ups is
to hold down the Ctrl key (if you're using IE6) or the Ctrl +
Alt keys (if you're using IE7).

If you're still unable to post a new question, see if the one
of the security programs installed on your computer is blocking
pop-ups. Google toolbar also has that feature.

Good luck
