Folder view solution needed

XP allows one to choose the view of any folder--or all the folders on the
computer. But what do you do when 10,000 folders are to have one view, and
the rest of the folders in the computer, another?

I have 100,000 photos in 10,000 folders, and I'd like all these folders to
use the Thumbnail view. I also have 3000 hours of mp3 audio files, and all
these should be in the List view. Setting every folder, one at a time, is
a herculean task; there must be a way of setting the view in accordance with
a simple rule.

What I would like is to set the entire computer so that every folder has the
List view, and then reset every folder that contains nothing but jpeg files
to the Thumbnail view. Note that any folder that has subfolders would
remain in the List view; only folders with nothing but pictures would appear
in the Thumbnail view.

Any simple way to do this?

Thanks,

You should have both a file manager and a graphics viewer, IMO.
Good luck.
