Termserver 2003 session hanging

I have a Win2003 server setup with Terminal services that works great
locally. I have a VPN to a single user (router to router) at a remote site.
The remote user can be working just fine, then all the sudden the session
will lockup (mouse still moves, but nothing on the screen responds). If
he disconnects and reconnects, he will get the same session back, but the
session is still locked up.

Again, this doesn't happen to my local users and it doesn't appear to
coincide with telco dropouts.

Have you tried letting the user connect w/o VPN, i.e. using Remote Desktop Client to connect directly to your TS via Port 3389 to see if the user still has this problem

Does the user have the RDP Session minimized for a length of time, then exhibits this problem

Are they using RDP Client 5.2.3790
