I have been unable to download any files using Internet
Explorer 6 for a few months now. I am using windows xp
pro. Here are a few facts that i have gathered as I have
been looking for a soloution to this problem. 1)It only
happens under my profile, witch is set as admin. all
others can download files flawlessly. 2)Under my profile,
my temporary internet files settings will NOT let me
select a folder to save the files in. The slider
adjustment for amount of disk space to use will adjust,
however the amount in the box to the right stays at 0 mb.
I can manualy insert an amount, however it will not go
over 10 MB. No matter what changes I make in this
settings, even if i dont make any, when i select ok, i
get a message that says enter a value between 1 & 0 as
the amount of disk space to allow ie to use. Also, there
is no folder location displayed for the temp internet
files current location. It is just blank. If I try to
select a folder it says that there is not enough disk
space to use this folder. I have over 30 gigs of free
disk space. If anyone can help me with this problem,
please respond to me at (e-mail address removed). Thanks
for any help.
