Temporary Internet Files Folder Issue

N

News

Having problems with a new user account. IE seems to lock up often and I get
a message saying my cache is full, even though I have emptied it (and did
not have much in it - the user is only a couple of days old). At Internet
Properties>General> Temporary Internet Files Folder> Current Location There
is no location listed. I have tried moving it, but I get an error saying the
new folder does not have enough room. At the "amount of disk space to use"
setting it is set at 0 and won't let me change it, I assume because there is
no folder currently listed.

To summerize - it appears there is no Temporary internet files folder set.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Hi Terry,
Open windows explorer and Click on tools and select Folder Options and click
on View Tab then under *Hidden files and folders* option select show hidden
files and folders Radio Button.
Hit F5 to refresh and go under this user name and see if he have a folder
named Temorary Internet Files if it there delete it and create a new one.
The path should be like this:
C:\Documents and settings\Nass\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files.
the tree in the windows explorer:
[-]Local Disk
