Task Manager window has things missing !?!

Jack

Hi all...

For some reason, when I open the Task Manager - the Menu items, the Tab
buttons and the bottom status bar have disappeared! They do not display. I
can see and scroll the individual process and click the 'End Process' button
should I want to (as per the 'Processes' tab button screen), I can 'move'
the task manager window around - but that's all I can see. I can't <alt-F>
to bring up the File menu, but it does bring up the Task Manager help when I
hit F1.

This happens when I ctrl-alt-del, ctrl-shift-esc, and also
Start-Run-taskmgr.exe

PC seems fine with XP SP2 3.0GHZ 1GB RAM.

Any ideas?

Jack.

Move the cursor to the top edge of the TM window and double click.

Ron,

Thank-you! That fixed it.
