System Start-up

I have two new items that appear to be running under my start-up tab.

Under startup item and command the name's appear on as 5 squares ????

The location for one is:

hkcu\software\microsoft\windows nt\current version\windows:run

and

hkcu\software\microsoft\windows nt\current version\windows:load

Does anyone know what this is or how to get rid of it ?????

Thanks in advance,
Bob

Can't say for sure but the key is a common entry point for some virus or
malware. Start by eliminating that possibility, do an up to date virus
and spyware scan on your machine.

I have had those in my startup before, I don't know what they were, but
removal is easy,
Run>regedit>
The disabled entries are present in any of the locations:

[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupreg]
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupfolder]

To remove the entries, open Regedit.exe and navigate to the above paths.
Backup the registry key before deleting it.
