MSCONFIG Start-up issues

Would really appreciate some advice on what to do with
the following.
In MSCONFIG Start-up, I have the following:
1.A check mark where there is no start-up or command
listed for location:
HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run

2. Two check marks where the start-up and command are
incrypted ( little square boxes ) for locations:
HKCU\software\microsoft\windows\NT\current
version\window:run, and windows:load
What should I do with these ???

Uncheck these items and reboot. Startup houses
applications that when installed, places itself in the
startup section. Virus scans are the only application
that I would recommend left check. Windows will boot
with these unchecked, but the application will have to be
started manually when needed.
