2 Strange entries in MSCONFIG | Startup

RJK

I have 16 entries in MSCONFIG Startup

12 start HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run 's
2 HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run

....these 14 I can see in regedit.exe

....but, the msconfig|startup window shows an extra 2 with no item name or
command path, and location just :-
SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run .....i.e. no HK??\ at the
front ? :)

....rummaged through registry e.g.
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServicesOnce
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce etc.

any idea's on how and where to clean them up ?

TIA

Possible related, WinRegCleaner is unable to delete these :)

The COM object has an empty or invalid Program ID Key.
HKLM\Software\Classes\CLSID\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}\ProgID
ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.9

The COM object has an empty or invalid Program ID Key.
HKLM\Software\Classes\CLSID\{D27CDB70-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}\ProgID
FlashFactory.FlashFactory.1

Thank you both.

Rread through the posts and didn't spot a solution ! Disucssion seemed to
cover the "cons" of registry cleaners, which of course are more trouble than
they're worth. For years and years, I've used them to get up a list of what
they propose to do, (for convenience), ...then one can look through the list
and assess for oneself, all the proposed changes :)

....I still have 2 "empty CLSID entries ? showing in MSCONFIG
