Windows Explorer always starts on Logon

Strange problem with WinXP. After logging on, Windows Explorer starts
automatically. I have looked in the Start Menu and Registry. There are
no shortcuts in the Startup folder, nor any entry in the regular keys
(see below). Any ideas on what is causing this?

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupreg

Thanks in advance,

Click Start > Run, type in "msconfig", without quotes > startup (tab), look
through the listing and uncheck that particular program that is starting up
with the system.
