hello,
i'm helping a friend of mine to solve a windows xp trouble, i mean,
everytime OS is loaded appear some alerts where is written that a file
is not found at startup, filename is unreadeable, i mean it's composed
by little rectangles and strange characters, if i press ok it go all
ok.
running 'msconfig' in Start tab i see those strange characters both in
"Start element" and "Command", in "Path" field i read:
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows:Run the first
one
and
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows:Load the
second one
while i try to disable this i can't start as "normal start" provo but
"selective start" and "diagnostic start" and i can't remove those two
elements neither rebooting the system.
any idea? :|
thank you
ps: maybe commands/fields translations are wrong, i have an italian
version MS Windows XP system
