Symbols appearing in a Word document

Hi all,

I have a user who is running Office 2003 on a Windows XP machine. One of her
clients sent her a document that has the "Tunga" font and when she opens it,
all she sees are random symbols. From what she told me, the font was missing
from her system so we added it in. She was still unable to see the text in
the document. She was able to change the text to Times New Roman and was able
to read everything after that. Is there any reason why even after adding the
font she was still not able to view it correctly? I appreciate and helpful
advice on this.

One possible explanation is that Word was running at the time the Font was
installed, so it wouldn't be available until the next launch - Is the font
available after restarting Word?
