svchost.exe error

At shutdown, I get the following error message

svchost.exe Application Failure. Instruction at 0x00000019 refererenced memory at 0x00000019. Memory could not be read

I have searched the web and I have found many references to several viruses. I have done multiple scans with various tools and installed MS's blaster patch. I am still getting this error. Can anyone help
