Error message in XP at shutdown

When XP shuts down, I get the following error message:
svchost.exe Application Error
The instruction at 0x00000019 references memory at
0x00000019. The memory could not be read. Click to
terminate the application.

I have searched the web, and all I can find are
references to viruses. I have done multiple scans, and
do not have any viruses. I would like to get rid of this
annoyance.
