Strings won't update automatically

I cannot get Windows Defender to do automatic updates. I have attempted the
fix recommended by MS. When I run the command: Msiexec /x
{A5CC2A09-E9D3-49EC-923D-03874BBD4C2C} I get a response window that says
"This action is only valid for products that are currently installed." I have
reinstalled and rebooted several times without sucess. I did upgrade from
Beta 2 to the final version.

Any suggestions?
