STOP blue screen message during repair...

Hello: I have replaced my Windows XP Pro machine's
outdated M/B with a P4X400 Dragon Lite and am using only
one 512MB 400Mhz memory chip, and I have a new XFX GEForce
5700 LE AGP 8x video card, a CD-R/RW drive, a DVD drive, a
network card, and a SoundBlaster sound card. I am trying
to repair my installation of Windows to configure the new
M/B but the system locks up with a Windows blue screen
with the following message " *** STOP: 0x0000007E
(0xC0000005, 0xF8746AD9, 0xF8988850, 0xF8988550)".

Please help me figure this out, any assistance would be
greatly appreciated.

What you should have done:

1. Backup any important data

2. Boot off of your XP CD (with all peripherals disconnected)
(Cable modem / DSL modem disconnected unless behind a router)

3. Press Enter for setup - instead of trying to run a Repair Install,
Press ESC to get to Partition Information, Delete the current C:
and then create a New Raw Partition and format and install on it
(which will become the new C:)

4. If using Dial-Up, make sure that the XP ICF is enabled before
connecting to the Internet (same with Cable modem / DSL modem
if not using a router) before connecting them again.

5. Get all XP critical updates installed at the Windows Update site

6. Reinstall all of your programs

7. Copy your data from the backups.

8. Activate over the Internet before the 30 days expires.
(If unable to acitvate over the Internet, then use the phone option
and you will eventually be talking to an Activation technician)
