still need help with constant resarting pc

pc restarts when the the green line gose accross the start up screen. also does the same thing for safe mode and all other modes

Have you added any pc cards to the board,if so,remove one at a tim
and see if one is creating a conflict.The other choice,install xp cd,restart computer
or shut-off,then boot to xp cd,recovery,press enter key for password,then at cm
screen type:CHKDSK C: /R When its thru,type:EXIT Let xp restart.
 
check your graphics card is seated correctly
and/or try it in another pc if possible
