When I turn on my computer, windows will not load. It says that NTLDR is
missing and tells me to press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart. When I put the Windows
CD in my cd drive, it will start up fint into the installed opperating
system. How can I install NTLDR so I can have this drive avalible for my use?

Hi

Try this:

Boot with your XP CD in the cd drive. Select 'To repair..' by pressing 'R'.
When in the Recovery Console type the following:

"copy X:\i386\ntldr C:\" - without the quotes.

Where X is the letter of your CD drive and C is the letter of your system
drive. Take the XP CD out of the cd drive and reboot into XP normally.

I did this, and now it flashes a message in the upper left corner too fast to
read, then restarts. Putting the CD in the drive and changing the boot
priority back to the CD lets it start normal anain.

Hi

Right click on My Computer, select
Properties and then the Advanced tab. Click on Settings under Startup and
Recovery and disable 'Automatically restart'. Next time your PC reboots,
you should see a Blue Screen. Could you please post the Stop Code that
accompanies that BSOD back here? With that that problem could be isolated.
