a few weeks ago my old computer started to stop working properly so i decided to delete the partition and create a new one using the windows xp cd.
but when trying to reinstall windows (using the 6 disk startup method and the windows xp cd), it says certain files cannot be copied because they are corrupt or missing. and i have tried using another windows xp cd but that doesnt work either.. i get the same thing. and now when i turn on my computer i get a message saying: "NTLDR did not load hit Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart."
do you know what the problem is and how can i fix it to install windows on my copmputer?

If you used the XP CD to delete the partition maybe you don't need the
6 disks and can boot from the
CD. Take a look in the Bios and see if you have that option to set
cdrom as first boot device.

Alternatively use Bart's Boot Disk for CDROM to run setup. Once you have
a drive letter for the CD, go to the I386 folder, type WINNT and press
enter.
