Start Menu / Taskbar

I just booted up one of my computers, and I cant seem to
find the start menu. Its not hidden, it just lost. Is
there anyway that I can get it back. . . if so how would
I go about doing that? Anything would help please.

Perhaps the taskbar is hidden...

Place the pointer on the bottom window border, until it becomes
two-headed. Hold down the left mouse button and drag upwards.
