On my start menu i have the folders My Documents and my computer, but i have
lost the floder my music. How do i get it back? I have a folder in a back-up
drive called my music, but when i go to copy it it winds up in my documents
and not the starup menu. Please walk me through how to fix this in the
simpelest way. Thank you in advance for your help.

Right-click anywhere on the 'Start Menu' and choose 'Properties' OR
from 'Control Panel' choose 'Taskbar and Start Menu'

Having opened 'Taskbar and Start Menu', first click on the 'Start Menu'
tab, then on the 'Customize' button.

(This is for the customize 'Start Menu' and not the 'Classic Start Menu'
on the same page)

In the 'Customize Start Menu' page that opens, look in the centre white
panel and scroll down to the 'My Music' item.

Either select :

Display as link.
Display as menu.
Don't display this item.

....as you will.

Several options (however none of them are as clean as you may want). And
yes, the folders on top are "special class citizens".

Right click the Start button/Properties/Start Menu/Customize/Advanced.
Scroll down to My Documents/Display as a Menu (ok, ok).

Then right click the Start button/Explore All Users/Programs. Find the
program in question, right click and copy.

Then go to Windows Explorer and scroll down to: Use as an example:
C:\Documents and Settings\Kelly\My Documents and paste.

Then go to the Start Menu/My Documents. Your program should be listed there
now and cascading.

Several other options:

Find the .exe of the program in question, right click, Pin to Start Menu.
Note: it won't be on the right hand side nor cascading.

Robert,
What did not work?

Please try to be a little more detailed in your reply, as I might then
be better able to help sort out what the problem you are experiencing
is.
